Team Phoenix goes to Anawangin

Nov 2008, Our team decided to go to Zambales and camp @ anawangin cove, we departed from manila at around 12nn and it took us 5 hours to reach San Antonio and then from there at least 2 more hours before reaching the cove. we immediately setup our camp site and cook dinner. It was my first time going there and the experience was awesome.

Anawangin is a cove in the town of San Antonio in Zambales. It is a beach that has an off-white sand and an evergreen forest cover near the shore (you’ll rarely see a coconut tree in Anawangin). Behind the forest is a small stream that flows out to the sea (During summer this stream dries up into a shallow pond). There are also two beach cliffs bounding the beach, which you can hike up and enjoy the view.

Avatar Adventure goes to Cagbalete Island

Another Activant adventure, this time let go to cagbalete island. Located by the quaint little town of Mauban, Quezon Province, beach lovers get to enjoy a 45-minute bangka ride to get to Pansacola Beach Resort in Cagbalete. For accommodations, nipa huts and wooden lofts are available to give you the experience of “roughing it”—you’d be surprised at how the evening sea breeze beats your usual air conditioners at home. With the staple of five meals per day, you will surely get more than you bargained for when it comes to food. At low tide, the clear blue water is transformed into a massive expanse of sand, perfect for games with your friends. At night, be amazed at the wide blanket of stars on the clear sky.

Avatar Adventure: Treasures of Bolinao

Team Activant decided to go to bolinao pangasinan as part of our adventure. i took us almost 6 hours to get there. the ride took its toll from us but it was worth it once we arrived @ patar beach. Patar white beach is the place to be here in Bolinao. The beauty of crystal clear water and fine sand this place posses attracts visitor more than anything else.

Cape Bolinao Lighthouse (about 100+ft) is more than a hundred years old and rises 351feet above sea level at Punta Piedra Point, the sharp point of Cape Bolinao itself. It is said to be the 2nd tallest lighthouse next to Cape Bojeador. The lighthouse was designed primarily to prevent sea disasters and guide fishermen and navigators of inter-island boats and ships plying in and out of Bolinao and on the international ocean passage to Hongkong, Japan, USA and other countries.
