Amazing Palawan: CORON

Explore the islands of Coron and experience nature in the Philippines at its best.

Do not miss Kayangan Lake and its majestic rock formations. Check out the shipwreck ruins near Siete Pecados. According to legend, Siete Pecados are the 7 daughters of the Datu (King) of the Islands who drowned when they went swimming. The Datu asked the Gods for something that will honor his daughters. One day, 7 islands rose from the sea, purportedly representing the Datu's 7 daughters. Thus, Siete Pecado

Hidden Paradise: Cagbalete Island, Quezon

Our team decided to maximize our weekends off so we planned a trip to Cagbalete island, its my third time going here and everychance was worth it. Its a good place to skimboard, i would always bring my board each time i visit the place.

Cagbalete Island is nothing but the perfect getaway from the hassles of urban living. Practically an undiscovered paradise, this unchartered island will surely capture both the young and young-at-heart, adventurous, and nature-loving city-dwellers.

The island of Cagbalete rests east of Quezon Province, along Lamon Bay and the Pacific Ocean. This 1,640-hectare property provides just the ideal spot for a hideaway: lush coconut plantation, crystal-clear waters, white sand… plus it gives one just the most breathtaking view of the sunrise. Cagbalete Island does not have the busy bars and restaurants and high end resorts but its simple and natural beauty may just be its main attraction

July 21-24 Banaue Rice Terraces

Banaue rice terraces has been described as the 8th wonder of the world. Carved out of the hillside by Ifugao tribes people 2000 to 3000 years ago without the aid of machinery to provide level steps where the natives plant rice. And they are still in use today. In 1995, they were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Banaue rice terraces stretch like stepping stones to the sky - some reaching an altitude of 1500m (4920ft). It is considered as one of mankind's greatest engineering feat. If the terraces were laid end to end, they would stretch half way around the world.

Next stop! Taal Lake

Taal Volcano was originally a huge volcano, that towered 18,000 feet up into the sky. It has been called the smallest active volcano, because it seems small now, but many people don't realize that it is one of the largest volcanos in the world. It is located about 70-km south of Manila on an island inside a lake called Taal Lake. Inside the main caldera, there is yet another lake, called the "Crater Lake." The highly sulfuric lake may have medicinal properties. People do swim in it. Some have even SCUBA dived in it.

Majayjay Adventure

Me and my activant friends had an urge to visit imelda falls in majajay laguna. we planned the trip to be a tikbalang and maligno adventure but we were shocked how lovely the place was. If you try to read the net the most common thing that you will read about the place is that the water is so damn cold and it's true grabe lamig ng tubig dun yet napaka relaxing nung lugar. It's my second time going there, first time kami nila janjie. We visited Lucban quezon first and then tsaka kami nag camp sa majajay. for campers na gusto pumunta dun i would suggest that you bring all the stuffs you need like food, water, tents and sympre toma panglaban sa lamig. the trail going down is about 800 meters so its really a long walk pero its a good thing na meron nang path way. For those interested to go there try nyo and its worth it.

From Manila go to sta cruz and then pagsanjan, turn left towards magadalena then keep going right to majajay, go left and you will end up visiting liliw laguna instead. there would be a small road on your right side that will lead to the falls. from the highway it's still 2 km away then lakad ng almost 800 meter galing sa parking space. Lucban town proper is just 15 mins away.

Island Destination: Boracay

Last May I went to Boracay with my girlfriend together with our college friends. I just had my cast remove. 2 weeks prior to the trip I suffered from a 3rd degree sprain and the doctor needed to immobilize my right ankle. 2 weeks of rest and I was able to convince the doctor to remove it. bummer I forgot to bring my skimboard, I always wanted ride with some of the best local skim boarders in bora. The trip was fun and tiring it was my first time going there and i enjoyed all the activities the island can offer.

White Beach is the main tourism beach. It is a bit over four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses, restaurants, and other tourism-related businesses. In the central portion, for about two kilometers, there is a footpath known as the Beachfront Path separating the beach itself from the establishments located along it. North and south of the Beachfront Path, beachfront establishments do literally front along the beach itself. Several roads and paths connect the Beachfront Path with Boracay's Main Road, a vehicular road which runs the length of the island. At the extreme northern end of White Beach, a footpath runs around the headland there and connects White Beach with Diniwid Beach.

Bohol Escapades

I planned a trip to visit bohol together with Chi. We got a promo fair from Cebupac and I invited my Barry and his wife Tin. We enjoyed the days tour being overed in bohol and that was my first time going south. We stayed at panglao island which is one of the best beach in the south, clear waters and fine side not as fine as bora but the color is the same.

Upon arrival in Tagbilaran airport, there are lots of services and guides that are very willing to drop you off at your hotel or resort in Panglao. Rate varies on what kind of transportation you want. our resort already had their van waiting for us. We contacted a local tour guide which was recommended to me by friend.

Ananwangin part II ( with the ocoma's )

Here we go again, we visited anawangin together with my gf's cousing. Janjie and I organized the trip. we had a lot of fun staying there. We played games and had a lot of activities setup for the day. I wont mind going back here again and again.

Anawangin is definitely Boracay’s exact opposite in terms of development, but that doesn’t mean you’ll run out of stuff to do during your stay. Here are some suggested activities you could do aside from lying in a hammock by the beach:
